Happy Birthday, baby girl!
She had an "enchanted birthday". Since Bree still had fever, she missed school today. So, she got to go with me to Wal-Mart to pick up her cake.
We went to target and let her spend her money from us and the grandparents. She got a beautiful barbie house, a horse stable, two dolls, a horse, flowers, 14 kt butterfly earrings, a Nintendo Dogs DS game, and a rescue pet.

If you only knew how much this little girl LOVES horses. She wants a cowgirl/horse room when we move, and eventually her own horse. (Well....we'll have to see about that!)
We were going to get her ears re-pierced, but were able to force one of the earrings through a somewhat closed hole pretty easily. She was grateful not to have to get her ears, "stapled".
Lunch at Fridays - they got very very messy eating ribs! :-)
I'm glad in a way we didn't have a party planned that we would have had to cancel. I think we had a very relaxed day, and it was fun to see her happy and joyful even though her body is very tired. I think we're going to try to send her to school tomorrow, where she can have a belated school party with her friends. Let's keep our fingers crossed that her fever doesn't return tonight or in the morning.
Thank you grandparents for helping her have a wonderful day. She missed you all very much!!

Oh my goodness...Happy 7th Birthday Bree! Wow! She is just beautiful Dawn! I LOVED you letter to her!! What a treasure and it is so good for those of us who don't see you to get to know your kids thru the blog. Thanks for sharing! She sounds like a true angel :)
