Lots of Prayer Requests

Hmmm... where do I start? Well, first off please keep in prayer my little 7 year old neice, Nicole. If you click on "the Smalley Family" on the list of friends and family near my archives you'll be able to read what's going on with them and see a picture of her. She had a seizure while sleeping and the Doctors cannot tell them why. She is to see her family doctor and neurology so please pray for her (I know Bree gets scared of going to the doctor and needles) and also for my brother, sis, and Nicole's three siblings.

Next...my grandpa is beginning radiation treatments this coming Thursday, I believe. We are hoping he will be able to drive himself into Lake Charles rather than have to get someone to take him. They said he should escape with few side effects and should be able to drive himself to and from treatments. He will be having 5 consecutive daily treatments for five weeks. He has a large mass in his lung and is 83. My nana and he have been married over 50 years.

Last, my Dad's PSA count is high again, higher than it's ever been. He will probably have a biopsy done in February to once again screen for Prostate cancer. He has had elevated PSA levels in the past, and we are worried at how they continually go up. My mother needs a hysterectomy for a prolapsed uterus that is descending. We also expect her surgery to occur in February and would ask that you please stay in prayer for our family.

On a positive note, our family had alot of fun goofing around with the camera tonight. I'll post a few pictures of us being silly. Jon and I went to a meeting today at church to once again volunteer to help with the Middle Schoolers. We hope to stay busy where needed until we move and hope we are a blessing to the kids we are surrounded by.

Please enjoy the pictures, and thank you so much for the prayers for our family. As the kids learned today, if we all had the faith of a mustard seed, we could move mountains!
Blessings and Love,
Dawn & Family
