Swine Flu and Bree's Room

Well, you might have heard about the Swine Flu from Mexico... What's so inconvenient and wierd is that out of the two confirmed cases in Texas, both are at a local high school down the road from our house, and our entire school district has been shut down for one week, despite the fact that we are TAKS testing Tuesday and Wednesday. Our neighborhood park was on the 5:00 news tonight, and is barracaded, and closed down. Our church today was cancelled. Braden's daycare is shut down. Jon and I will both miss some work this week (even though we don't teach in our district) since Braden goes to daycare here.

On a good note, we painted Bree's room this weekend. It turned out so cute. We think it looks like Neopolitan ice cream. :-) She loves loves loves it!! The picture of the horse is one I took myself, and blew up into a poster-sized print. The horse is named Saffron. Mimi, the bookshelf is the one she bought with your birthday money!! Enjoy the pics! We'll keep you posted on the flu. We've been asked to stay home, stay indoors, and practice good hygiene. I've got to pull out the board games and Wii this week, it seems!

WOW it's a dream come true... A dream room for sweet dreams. It is amazing. It's soo nice you may not sleep but enjoy your cozy place. (Just a joke) Your room is the WOW of the WOW's. The best I've seen in my life. As for the Flu... Even here 6000 miles away they sing it like a national anthem on the news. I don't think that it will be such a big deal as long as you keep good hygiene as they told you. And i watched BBC and i think i saw you neighborhood if it was yours. LOL Hope you all stay healthy out there. :) Greetings
